Summary

The Certified Trade Mission will introduce a small, select group of U.S. private equity, venture capital and real estate fund managers to pre screened    Institutional investors from Israel’s largest Insurance companies, Pension Funds and Institutional investors.

The mission is organized by Katsof Energy Consulting certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce as the official mission organizer in cooperation with Dun & Bradstreet Israel.

Certified Trade Missions and similar events coordinated in partnership with the U.S. Commerce Department have attracted top funds from the U.S.  Click here to see some of the funds that have attended in the past.

Who May Attend

Attendees must be invited to participate in this mission.  Invitees represent a select group of top U.S. private equity, venture capital and real estate fund managers.

Overview

  • The Mission will provide: 
  • One-on-one meetings with Israeli investors
  • An opportunity to meet Israeli Institutional limited partner investors from the largest Insurance companies, and Pension Funds.
  • A forum to exchange ideas and strategies with Israeli investors, other U.S.-based fund managers, and policy-makers from both Israel and the United States.
  • Opportunities for intimate interaction between U.S.GP’s and Israeli LP’s
  • Promote U.S. PE and VC Funds
  • Introduce U.S. PE and VC Funds to Israeli LP’s

The number of fund manager participants is strictly limited to maximize the level of overall access and one-on-one meeting opportunities with the institutional investors. It is expected that the delegation will be selected in full by April 30, 2013.

10:30- 10:45 Coffee Break

 10:45- 11:30 Building Successful Partnerships with Israeli LP’s

A panel of experts will provide insight into how U.S. GP’s have successfully worked with Israeli investors. We will give you an overview of the legal and regulatory environment as well as other information that will be useful for you in meeting Israeli LP’s.

11:30- 12:00 Networking and Registration of Israeli LP Delegates

 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch with U.S. Ambassador Daniel Shapiro

Joining us will be the Representatives of the major Israeli Institutions. It will be an opportunity for the GP’s and LP’s to meet each other.

1:00-3:30              One- on- one meetings: Members of the U.S. delegation will meet in one-on-one meetings with each Investment Professional from the leading Israeli Institutions, Insurance companies, pension funds and family offices. Each attendee will be given a schedule that will ensure he meets with each Israeli institution. Meetings will be approximately twenty minutes long.

4:00-4:45      Challenges & Opportunities for the Private Equity Industry in      2013. U.S. Delegates will participate on this panel

As we emerge from the US financial crisis, the alternative investment industry is evolving like never before. Though investments are increasing, discussions regarding liquidity, fee restructuring, regulatory changes and other challenges are plentiful. The panelists will share their thoughts on these changes, as well as why they believe the asset class remains compelling. In addition, they will discuss where they see the most opportunity in 2013.
